Cardinat Bas Armagnac 1990 is a vintage Bas-Armagnac distilled in 1990 and aged for decades in French oak casks before bottling. Produced in the Bas-Armagnac region of Gascony, the spirit reflects the rustic depth and earthy complexity that distinguish Armagnac from Cognac.

Long maturation gives the 1990 vintage a layered profile built around dried fig, prune, orange peel, roasted nuts, vanilla, baking spice, leather, and polished oak. The palate is rich and concentrated with notes of dark caramel, stewed fruit, tobacco, cocoa, and subtle rancio character that develops through a long, warming finish.

Compared with Cognac, Bas-Armagnac often shows a more robust and savory personality, and older vintage bottlings like this tend to highlight that combination of maturity, spice, and deep fruit particularly well.
