Casoni Heritage Amaro is a classic Italian bitter liqueur rooted in the aperitivo and digestivo traditions of Emilia-Romagna, where the historic Casoni house has been producing spirits since the early 1800s. Built around a blend of herbs, spices, citrus, and botanicals, the amaro balances bitterness, sweetness, and spice in a style that feels both traditional and highly versatile.

The nose shows aromas of orange peel, gentian, baking spice, cola, dried herbs, and subtle menthol. On the palate, it opens with notes of caramelized citrus and dark herbs before moving into layers of licorice root, clove, cocoa, and earthy alpine bitterness. The texture is rich without becoming heavy, and the finish lingers with warming spice and a pleasantly bitter edge.

Compared with intensely medicinal or aggressively bitter amari, Heritage Amaro leans approachable and balanced while still offering enough complexity to satisfy longtime amaro drinkers.
