An herb-driven amaro from the island of Ischia, made by Ischia Sapori using wild arugula (rucola) as its defining ingredient. It’s a more savory, coastal take on amaro, rooted in local tradition and built around fresh, garden-grown botanicals rather than heavy spice.

The nose is green and aromatic—peppery herbs, citrus peel, and a touch of earth. On the palate, it’s lightly sweet but led by that signature rucola bite, with flavors of bitter greens, lemon zest, and soft herbal spice. The finish is clean, slightly dry, and pleasantly bitter.

Best served well chilled as a digestif, but it also plays nicely in spritz-style drinks or as a more savory substitute in cocktails that call for amaro. A great option if you’re looking for something herbal, distinctive, and a little off the beaten path.
