Marolo Grappa Brunello Still (375ml)

Marolo Grappa di Brunello is a single-varietal grappa distilled from the pomace of Brunello winemaking in Montalcino, giving the spirit a more structured and vinous character than many lighter grappas. Produced by the renowned Piedmont distillery founded by Paolo Marolo, this bottling reflects Marolo’s meticulous approach to small-batch distillation and respect for the identity of the grape source.

Distilled in small bain-marie stills, the grappa captures the darker fruit and savory depth associated with Sangiovese from Montalcino while maintaining remarkable elegance and purity. The nose opens with dried cherry, rose petal, orange peel, tobacco, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is textured and warming with notes of red berries, tea leaf, almond, leather, and earthy herbs, finishing long with floral lift and gentle peppery spice.

Compared with more rustic styles of grappa, Marolo’s expression is polished and precise while still retaining plenty of character.
