Rabbit Hole Bourbon Sherry Cask Dareringer (750ml)

Rabbit Hole Dareringer is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey produced by Rabbit Hole Distillery and finished in Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry casks.

The base bourbon is made from a wheated mashbill of 68% corn, 18% wheat, and 14% malted barley, then aged in toasted and charred new American oak barrels before undergoing a secondary maturation in PX sherry casks sourced from Spain. This finishing step is central to the whiskey’s identity, adding a distinct layer of sweetness and depth.

Dareringer is bottled at 93 proof (46.5% ABV) and produced in small batches, typically blended from a limited number of barrels. It is also non-chill filtered.

The profile leans into the influence of the sherry casks, showing dried fruit, cherry, raisin, and caramel, supported by softer notes of vanilla, oak, and baking spice. The finish carries a balance of fruit and spice with a gentle dryness.

This is one of Rabbit Hole’s signature expressions, built around a more modern approach to bourbon that emphasizes finishing and grain selection to shape the final character.
