Redbreast Single Pot Still American Oak Missouri Irish Whiskey (750ml)

This limited-edition Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey brings a distinctly American oak influence to Redbreast’s classic style. Produced at Midleton Distillery from malted and unmalted barley, the whiskey is initially matured in traditional sherry and ex-bourbon casks before receiving a 10-month finish in virgin Missouri oak barrels, with the oak sourced from the Ozark Forest. Bottled at a robust 50.5% ABV (101 proof), the Missouri Oak Edition is part of Redbreast’s American Oak series and was released exclusively for the U.S. market.

The nose opens with toffee apple and vanilla, followed by blackcurrant, black cherry, cinnamon, ginger and a rich, pecan-like nuttiness. The palate is full and creamy, with pronounced oak tannins balanced by berry fruit, vanilla cream, nutmeg, cinnamon and black pepper. A long finish carries lingering pot still spice and nutty notes before gradually giving way to seasoned oak.
