Rolling Fork 9 Year Single Cask Barbados Rum (750ml)

Rolling Fork’s 9 Year Single Cask Barbados Rum begins at Foursquare Distillery in Barbados, where it is produced from molasses using a combination of pot and column distillation. The rum spends eight years aging tropically in ex-bourbon barrels before being brought to Rolling Fork in the United States for additional maturation. Individual casks are finished for approximately 12–24 months in select American whiskey barrels, which can include wheated bourbon, high-rye bourbon, rye whiskey or toasted bourbon casks depending on the release. It is bottled at cask strength, without added coloring or additives, and is non-chill filtered.

Rich and expressive, the nose combines vanilla and citrus with gentle oak and baking spice. The palate builds on those flavors with toasted coconut, cedar and dark red fruit, while the secondary whiskey-cask maturation contributes additional vanilla, caramelized sweetness and spice. The finish is robust and warming, balancing mature oak with lingering fruit and spice.
