Tempus Fugit Gran Classico Bitter (700ml)

Gran Classico Bitter is a Swiss-made bitter apéritif based on an original “Italian Bitter of Turin” recipe dating to the 1860s. The historic formula was acquired by Swiss distillery E. Luginbühl in 1925, and Gran Classico was later developed by returning to the original recipe. It is produced by macerating 25 aromatic herbs and roots, including wormwood, gentian, bitter orange peel, rhubarb and hyssop. Its distinctive golden-amber hue comes naturally from the maceration, with no additional coloring added. Bottled at 28% ABV.

Complex and bittersweet, it offers bitter orange, gentian and wormwood alongside rhubarb and vanilla, developing resinous herbal notes through a deep, lingering finish. Enjoy it over ice or with sparkling water, or use it as a richly herbal alternative to a red bitter in a Negroni and other classic aperitivo cocktails.
