Ancho Reyes Liquer Ancho Chile (750ml)

Ancho Reyes Original Chile Liqueur is a distinctive Mexican liqueur inspired by a 1927 recipe from Puebla and produced using sun-dried ancho chiles, the dried form of ripe poblano peppers. Crafted by Casa Lumbre, the liqueur pays homage to traditional menjurjes, homemade infused spirits once common throughout central Mexico. The chiles are hand-selected, sun-dried for several weeks, and macerated in cane spirit for up to six months before bottling.

The profile balances sweetness, spice, and savory depth, with notes of dried chile, cinnamon, cocoa, tamarind, baking spice, and subtle herbal undertones. The heat builds gradually rather than aggressively, creating a layered and versatile liqueur that brings both flavor and warmth to cocktails.

At 40% ABV, Ancho Reyes has become a staple behind the bar for adding complexity to Margaritas, Old Fashioneds, and other classic cocktails, while also offering enough depth to enjoy on its own or over ice.
