Bladnoch Vinaya is the flagship expression from Scotland’s southernmost distillery, showcasing the bright, fruit-forward style that has long defined Lowland single malt. The name Vinaya, derived from the Sanskrit word for "respect and gratitude," reflects the distillery’s appreciation for the people and traditions that have shaped Bladnoch since its founding in 1817.

Matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon barrels and first-fill sherry casks, Vinaya balances fresh orchard fruit with gentle richness. Notes of green apple, pear, honey, vanilla, citrus zest, and floral malt are complemented by hints of baking spice and toasted oak, leading to a smooth, approachable finish.

Under the ownership of Australian entrepreneur David Prior and the guidance of Master Distiller Dr. Nick Savage, Bladnoch has earned renewed acclaim for producing elegant, terroir-driven whiskies that emphasize balance and careful cask selection.
