WhistlePig 18 Year Old Double Malt Straight Rye Whiskey (750ml)

WhistlePig 18 Year Double Malt is an exceptionally mature straight rye whiskey built around the historic practice of incorporating malted grain into a rye mash. The original Double Malt expression is distilled from 79% rye, 15% malted rye, and 6% malted barley—the two malted grains giving the whiskey its “Double Malt” name. After 18 years of maturation, it is bottled at 92 proof (46% ABV).

The nose is sweet and aromatic, showing toasted oak, berries, and nutmeg. On the palate, classic rye spice is balanced by gentle fruit and floral notes, with vanilla and seasoned oak emerging as the whiskey opens. The finish is remarkably long, clean, and spicy, emphasizing the depth gained through its extended maturation.
