Barrell Craft Spirits Batch 038 Bourbon (750ml)

Barrell Bourbon Batch 038 is a cask-strength blend of straight bourbon whiskeys sourced from four states, bringing together 8-year-old bourbon from Maryland, 9- and 10-year-old bourbon from Indiana, 12-year-old bourbon from Kentucky, and 12- and 15-year-old bourbon from Tennessee. The whiskeys were blended and bottled in Kentucky at 116.96 proof, or 58.48% ABV. Its derived mash bill is 79% corn, 17% rye, and 4% malted barley.

Batch 038 emphasizes the darker, more mature side of Barrell's blending style. The profile moves through dried fruit, honey, toasted oak, baking spice, dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and earthy notes, with ginger and red fruit appearing through the finish. Fine tannins and the influence of the older components give the bourbon considerable depth and structure, while a splash of water brings forward brighter fruit and sweeter pastry-like notes.

Released in 2026, Batch 038 continues Barrell Craft Spirits' longstanding approach of combining bourbons of different ages and origins into limited cask-strength batches, with each release constructed as its own distinct blend.
