Berto Bitter Amaro (1L)

Produced by Antica Distilleria Quaglia in Piedmont, Italy, Bèrto Bitter is a traditional Italian bitter liqueur rooted in a recipe dating to the early 1900s. The modern expression is built around long infusions of aromatic herbs, citrus and spices, with gentian, quassia/bitterwood and white carline providing its distinctive bitter backbone.

Deep and complex, it balances pronounced herbal bitterness with aromatic notes of sweet and bitter orange, wormwood, vanilla and cinnamon. The palate is smooth and rounded, with citrus and sweeter spice providing contrast to the earthy, persistent bitter character. At 25% ABV, it is designed particularly for Italian aperitivo-style cocktails and works beautifully in classics such as a Negroni or Americano.
