Emilio Lustau Oloroso VORS 30 Year Sherry (500ml)

A remarkably concentrated Oloroso VORS from Lustau, produced from 100% Palomino and selected from some of the oldest solera casks in the bodega’s Jerez cellars. Former Cellar Master Manuel Lozano selected the wine from a soleraje of just nine casks, with an average age of more than 30 years. It is bottled directly from the cask without treatment, so natural sediment or slight cloudiness may occur.

Old gold with bronze hues, this is a dry, powerful Oloroso with layers of walnut, bitter orange, dried apricot, plum and toffee, developing deeper notes of fine wood, spice and subtle smokiness. Extended oxidative aging gives the palate tremendous concentration and richness, with flavors reminiscent of candied chestnut and mature Brandy de Jerez leading into a long, complex finish.
