La Luna Mezcal Artesanal Espadincillo (750ml)

Produced in Michoacán, Mexico, La Luna Espadincillo is a certified Mezcal Artesanal made entirely from Espadincillo agave, a locally occurring maguey that La Luna distinguishes from the Espadín commonly associated with Oaxaca. According to the producer, Espadincillo generally reaches maturity in approximately 5–7 years. The agave is cooked for about 120 hours, rested for 48 hours and fermented for approximately 240 hours using traditional artisanal methods.

Bright and expressive, the nose combines citrus and grapefruit peel with an unusual strawberry-yogurt note. The palate brings roasted agave to the forefront, layered with lively citrus and just a touch of smoke. Rather than being dominated by smokiness, it maintains a fresh, fruit-driven character that highlights the distinctive personality of Michoacán-grown Espadincillo.
