Rolling Fork Heart of Gold Rum (750ml)

Created specifically with cocktails in mind, Rolling Fork Heart of Gold is a small-batch blend of four molasses-based rums from Barbados and Jamaica. The blend combines a 3–4-year-old pot- and column-distilled Barbados rum with three Jamaican components: two pot-still rums and one column-distilled rum ranging from one to four years old. Each component undergoes additional maturation in a hand-selected ex-bourbon or toasted bourbon cask at Rolling Fork in Indiana, with secondary aging ranging from a few months to two years. The finished rum is non-chill filtered and bottled at a cocktail-friendly 101 proof.

Bright and flavorful, it leads with citrus and red berry fruit, including a tart cranberry-like note, followed by brown sugar, vanilla and mild baking spice. The higher proof gives it enough structure to remain expressive when mixed without overwhelming a drink. Designed as a versatile mixing rum, it is particularly well suited to a Daiquiri, Rum Sour or Gold Rush, while offering enough depth to enjoy over ice.
