Black Tot Finest Caribbean Rum (750ml)

Black Tot Finest Caribbean Rum is a modern interpretation of the traditional British Royal Navy rum blends, inspired by the centuries-old practice of issuing daily rum rations to sailors. The tradition ended on July 31, 1970, a date remembered as "Black Tot Day." Today, Black Tot honors that history with carefully selected Caribbean rums blended to showcase the distinctive character of their origins.

Crafted from a blend of rums produced in Barbados, Trinidad, Guyana, and Jamaica, Black Tot Finest Caribbean combines the elegant tropical fruit and vanilla notes of Barbadian rum, the lighter fruit character of Trinidadian rum, the rich depth of Guyanese rum, and the distinctive funky intensity of Jamaican pot still rum. The components are tropically aged, and the finished blend is bottled at 92.4 proof (46.2% ABV) without added sugar or flavorings and without chill filtration.

The nose offers aromas of ripe pineapple, banana, vanilla, and toasted oak. On the palate, layers of caramel, vanilla fudge, tropical fruit, and baking spices develop alongside hints of dark chocolate, coffee, and toasted cinnamon. The finish is long and warming, with lingering notes of roasted fruit, cocoa, and spice.

Rich enough to enjoy neat or over ice, Black Tot also has the depth and intensity to stand up beautifully in classic rum cocktails, particularly a Daiquiri, Mai Tai, or Rum Old Fashioned.
