Grahams 40 Year Tawny Port (750ml)

Graham’s 40 Year Old Tawny Port is an exceptionally mature blend drawn from wines aged for decades in seasoned oak casks in the Graham’s lodge in Vila Nova de Gaia. The extended cask aging slowly transforms the fruit, concentrating the wine while developing the remarkable complexity, freshness and silky texture characteristic of very old Tawny Port.

Deep amber with golden-green highlights, it offers layers of dried fig, raisin and orange peel alongside toasted almond, walnut, caramel and warming spice. The palate is rich and concentrated yet beautifully lifted, with flavors of dried fruit, roasted nuts, toffee and citrus unfolding into a long, elegant finish. Despite its age and richness, bright acidity provides freshness and balance.

Best served slightly chilled, this is a contemplative after-dinner Port that is excellent on its own or alongside toasted nuts, aged cheeses and caramel or nut-based desserts.
