Bordiga Vermouth Extra Dry (750ml)

Bordiga Vermouth di Torino Extra Dry is produced in Cuneo, Piedmont, according to the historic methods of the Bordiga distillery, founded in 1888. Its wine base includes Moscato Secco, Trebbiano and Cortese, combined with infusions of aromatic herbs, roots and spices. Many of the Alpine botanicals used by Bordiga are still hand-harvested in the Cuneo Alps.

The extensive botanical blend includes wormwood, linden, coriander, marjoram, fennel, cinchona, cardamom, quassia, gentian, sage and citrus peel, among others. Pale straw yellow in color, it is intensely vinous and aromatic, with spice and subtle floral notes. The palate combines balanced acidity with an initial touch of sweetness that develops into a long, characteristically dry and bitter finish.

Bordiga allows the vermouth an extended production and resting period before release and uses natural cold clarification and paper filtration. At 18% ABV, its dry, complex botanical profile is particularly well suited to classic vermouth cocktails.
