El Tesoro Tequila Reposado (750ml)

El Tesoro Reposado is a benchmark for traditionally made tequila, produced at La Alteña distillery in the highlands of Jalisco using 100% blue Weber agave. The focus here is on preserving the natural character of the agave while adding just enough oak to bring texture and depth.

It’s aged longer than most reposados, typically around 9–11 months in used American oak bourbon barrels, which gives it more structure without pushing it too far into heavy wood influence.

The nose shows cooked agave, light oak, and warm spice, with hints of vanilla and a subtle herbal edge. On the palate, it’s balanced and layered, bringing together sweet roasted agave, caramel, and gentle baking spice, along with a touch of pepper and earth. The oak is integrated rather than dominant, adding roundness while keeping the agave front and center. The finish is smooth, with lingering spice and a soft, dry edge.

A classic, no-shortcuts reposado that leans traditional in style. It’s an easy choice for sipping, but also holds up well in more spirit-forward cocktails where you want both agave and barrel character to show through.
