Reserva de la Familia® is the Cuervo family’s prized 100% blue agave tequilas drawn from the family’s private reserve and crafted in limited quantities. Available in Platino, Reposado and Extra-Añejo, the superb spirits are multiple award winners. The most exclusive tequila in the world was first introduced in 1995 to commemorate the Cuervo family’s 200-year tequila legacy. The brand showcases the exclusive spirits previously shared only with close friends. Reserva de la Familia® Reposado has smooth and complex flavors of cooked agave, stewed tropical fruit, hazelnuts, vanilla, pepper, cinnamon & clove. The golden spirit has a medium and crisp finish with notes of chamomile and cinnamon.
Description

Reserva de la Familia Reposado is a small-batch, ultra-premium tequila produced at La Rojeña distillery in Jalisco, Mexico, using 100% blue Weber agave harvested at full maturity. This expression builds on the Cuervo family’s long tradition of estate-grown agave and careful distillation, with a focus on layered oak influence and balance.

What sets this reposado apart is its aging program. The tequila is matured in a combination of heavily toasted American oak along with lightly toasted American and French oak barrels, creating a more complex profile than a standard reposado. The time in wood softens the agave while adding depth without overwhelming it.

The nose shows cooked agave, baking spice, and toasted oak, with notes of vanilla, clove, and subtle tropical fruit. On the palate, it’s round and polished, with flavors of caramel, toffee, and spice layered over a core of sweet roasted agave. The finish is smooth and lingering, with gentle oak and spice carrying through.

A refined, oak-driven reposado that still keeps the agave in focus, this is well suited for sipping neat or as a more structured base for elevated tequila cocktails.
