Old Carter Straight American Whiskey Small Batch 17 is a 19-barrel blend of 10-year-old American whiskey distilled in Indiana and bottled at a formidable 130.7 proof. A portion of the blend received additional aging in new charred oak, adding extra depth and complexity while preserving the bold character that defines Old Carter's barrel-strength releases. Unfiltered and bottled at full proof, it opens with aromas of golden syrup, root beer, and white flowers before a rich, viscous palate gives way to a long, cooling finish. With only 3,559 bottles produced, Batch 17 is another distinctive micro-batch from one of American whiskey's most respected independent blenders.
