Niepoort 20 Year Old Tawny (750ml)

Niepoort 20 Year Old Tawny Port is a blend of traditional Douro varieties matured for decades in small old oak casks in the house’s cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. The 20 Year designation reflects the character and average age of the blend, bringing together the richness and complexity of extended wood aging with the freshness that is central to Niepoort’s style.

Amber-tawny in color, it offers layered aromas of dried apricot, fig and orange peel alongside toasted almond, walnut, caramel and warm spice. The palate is silky and concentrated, with dried fruit and nutty flavors balanced by lively acidity. Notes of citrus, toffee and seasoned wood carry through a long, elegant finish that remains remarkably fresh despite the wine’s maturity.

Serve slightly chilled on its own or pair with toasted nuts, aged cheeses, crème brûlée, dried fruit and almond- or caramel-based desserts.
